Founded in 1350, the University of Perpignan is a medium sized, multidisciplinary and dynamic campus. 9500 students follow courses in a broad range of areas: languages, humanities, law, management, sciences, sport, tourism. UPVD has been recognized for its excellence in the fields of renewable energy and humanities. The offer of study programmes is supported by a dynamic, internationally involved research based on the association of its 16 laboratories.
UPVD is known as a university with high international visibility. By its participation in numerous European & multilateral projects, it has acquired a real know-how in implementation and management of international cooperations.

Bialystok University of Technology (Poland)
Originally established in 1949 as a Private Evening Engineering College and nationalised in 1951, Bialystok University of Technology (BUT) finally acquired its university status in 1974. Located in Bialystok, BUT is the largest technical university in the north-eastern region of Poland.
At present there are nearly 7,5 thousand students studying at Bialystok University of Technology at its 6 faculties.
The education process involves three cycles or degrees in full-time and part-time modes. To meet the expectations of both our students and modern market economy BUT offers 29 first and 21 second degree courses taught in Polish, 5 first degree courses and 7 second degree courses taught in English and over 550 subjects for Erasmus+/free-mover students. Additionally, the graduates as well as other people wishing to continue their education will find a rich variety of postgraduate courses. Bialystok University of Technology cooperates with academic centres across the world within the framework of bilateral scientific agreements (over 160 agreements). Our university staff have been taking part in both national and international scientific research and didactic programmes. The cooperation has resulted in a large number of doctoral and post-doctoral dissertations, study exchange programmes and scholarships. BUT also participates in the Erasmus+ Programme (315 current agreements) and Horizon 2020. BUT has signed double-degree agreements with 16 universities.
Our University has been organizing and co-organizing national and international scientific conferences, seminars, debates and promotional events.

The Chemnitz University of Technology, founded in 1836 as the “Royal Trade School”, is one of the most international universities in Germany with almost 30% international students. At eight faculties, scientists research and teach in the fields of competence “Materials and Smart Systems”, “Resource Efficient Production and Lightweight Structures” and “Humans and technology”. It’s profile is based on trans-disciplinarity as well as on national and international networking and it links technical and natural sciences together with social sciences and humanities as well as economics in order to generate competitive and outstanding research and education.

The University of Craiova is one of the biggest Romanian public institution of higher education, founded in 1947, functioning ever since, gaining experience and importance every year. The scientific events, the promotion of science, culture and education make the university attractive and impose it as main stakeholder in the social-economic development of the region.

University of Girona
The University of Girona is a higher education public institution devoted to the progress of society by excelling in teaching and research. UdG is deeply rooted in Catalonia and its culture and stands as an economic and cultural motor. UdG offers 44 bachelor and 40 master’s degrees in many areas: Sciences, Law, Business and Economics, Tourism, Education and Psychology, Arts and Humanities, Engineering and Architecture, Medicine and Nursing. Research is developed in 22 departments and 10 institutes; 14 PhD programs are offered which produce 100 thesis every year. UdG involves 15,000 students, 1200 academic and 550 administrative and technical staff.

The University of Lleida global aim is to prepare responsible and socially committed professionals with a deep understanding of the big challenges of our society. Our high standards of teaching are based in a strong research and technology transfer activity with a tight connection to local and global industries and institutions. This is achieved through: (i) Research centers in strategic areas: Agrotecnio and CTFC (Agrofood), IRBLleida (Biomedicine), INSPIRES (Technology) and INDEST (Social development), and (ii) The Agro-food Science and Technology Park, a meeting point with industry and institutions, with 1.500 professionals and more that 100 enterprises working in innovation projects.

Rezekne Academy of Technologies (Latvia)
Rezekne Academy of Technologies (RTA) is a regional higher education institution founded in 1993 in Rezekne (Latvia). The aim of RTA is to provide academic and professional higher education in compliance with the science development level and cultural traditions of Latvia being competitive in the European education space; to develop regional economy, science and education in Latgale region and thus in the whole Latvia.
RTA has 15 study directions with more than 40 study programs and 30 lifelong learning programs. On average 1800 students are studying annually. It is a state established regional higher education institution that offers academic and professional education on bachelor, master and doctoral level in fields of engineering, information technologies, computer science, metal processing, mechanics, electronics, laser technologies, business, economics, manufacturing, teacher training, law, design, etc.
RTA has more than 210 partners abroad offering high rates of students and staff mobility.

“Angel Kanchev” University of Ruse (Bulgaria)
The “Angel Kanchev” University of Ruse, Bulgaria, is a state-funded higher education institution with around 8,000 students and over 400 highly qualified lecturers. It is among the 10 largest universities in Bulgaria and the largest Bulgarian multi-profile university along the Danube River. It has extremely strong positions and significant influence in the Bulgarian – Romanian cross-border region along the Danube and in the entire Danube Region. UR is the only Bulgarian university member of the Danube Rectors’ Conference and a regular member of the European University Association, Visegrad University Association, Balkan University Association and other international organizations.
The University of Ruse offers 50 Bachelors, 90 Masters and 52 PhD programmes in 23 accredited professional fields. The broad research profile of the University provides opportunities for research and innovation in the most advanced scientific areas, as well as for participation in thematic networks and authorship developments of key importance for the economy of knowledge on a national and international scale.
The University of Ruse ranks among the first three Bulgarian universities with respect to the number of implemented international projects, student and staff mobility and financial contribution from international projects and has more than 550 bilateral agreements signed with HEIs from51 countries.
